It’s often hard to remember to be grateful for things that are good for us, but aren’t very fun, like going to the veterinarian. But try to keep in mind that it’s a blessing in disguise.

Abby: Try to have gratitude that God has provided us with modern medicine. Instead of saying "I hate the vet," say "Thank you God, for creating talented veterinarians I can go to."

Nim: I know somebody who always complains. She never sees the blessings in her life.

Con: You should pray for her. Pray that God will reveal her blessings and then touch her heart so that she can focus on the positive. Which will help her deal with her difficulties more easily.

Nim: I was just going to tell her to shut her kibble-hole and quit complaining, but your way sounds better.

If you remember your blessings, it's easier to deal with your problems.
