Veterinarian – I Hate Going To The Vet

It’s often hard to remember to be grateful for things that are good for us, but aren’t very fun, like going to the veterinarian. But try to keep in mind that it’s a blessing in disguise.

Nim: I hate going to the vet! I hate it! I hate it! I HATE IT!!!

Abby: You should try to change your perspective.

Abby: Try to have gratitude that God has provided us with modern medicine. Instead of saying "I hate the vet," say "Thank you God, for creating talented veterinarians I can go to."

Nim: Easy for you to say. You don't have to go to the vet today.
Abby: True.

Gratitude: What Simple Things Are You Thankful To God For?

Gratitude is important in all things.

Abby tells Nim that he should be thankful for the little things and gets an answer she doesn’t expect. The Bible says we should thank God for all things… what are you thankful for?

Abby: We should have Gratitude l to God for giving us even the simplest of things.

Nim: Like grass.

Abby: Yes, Nim. That's very sweet that you're grateful for grass. What made you think of it so quickly?

Nim: I can't go potty unless the ground has grass on it.

It’s easy to let the stress of today’s world get you down. But instead of complaining, say a prayer today asking God to help you recognize your blessings.

I heard a man complain about the price of gas today.
He said it was an outrage how much he had to pay.

But gas was not the only thing he liked to rave about.
He then said his grocery bill was really too far out.

In spite of all his blessings, no gratitude had he.
He failed to recognize that prayer is still free!

If you're feeling beaten down by the high cost of living, make a date for prayer time with God.

But that was not the only thing that put him in a huff.

Then he said his gourmet coffee wasn't hot enough.

In spite of all his blessings, no gratitude had he.

I guess he failed to realize...
