Not Perfect, Just Forgiven

Just because Christians try to live a Godly life but stumble, that doesn’t make us hypocrites. It just means we’re human! We’re not perfect, just forgiven.

Nim: My friend said Christians have to be perfect.
Con: Not true.

Nim: She said that if we weren't, then we'd be hypocrites.
Con: That's crazy!

Con: We know we aren't perfect. It's so obvious that we are nothing without Jesus that we came up with the saying: "Not perfect, just forgiven."

Nim: Phew! That's a big relief. I usually don't make it past breakfast without messing something up!

Mark 16:17 – Cast Out Devils

Nim: I had to go to the groomer yesterday.
Con: I hate to go to the groomer!

Nim: Tell me about it. I even tried to talk my way out of it by saying I was like Samson and that cutting my hair would weaken me.

Con: How'd that work out?
Nim: Not well.

Nim: She just smiled and showed me her nametage. It read "Delilah."
Con: Ooooooooo!

Rain Is Not God Crying

Nim: When it's raining, is that really God crying?

Con: Rain makes the flowers grow and fills our water supply so we can live. And after the rain is over, we get to see a rainbow.

Volunteering At Church

Con: I hate to hear that. Have you talked to your pastor?

Amos: Yeah. Today he suggested that people can feel down when they don't think they are productive. So he said that I should make it my goal to finish everything that I start.

Witnessing For Christ
