Jeremiah, or “Jerry,” is a dalmatian who thinks everyone should have spots, too. Jerry loves to tell really corny jokes.
↓ TranscriptAbby: I had a bad day! My teacher yelled at me today and I didn't do anything wrong!
Jerry: Then you're blessed. The Bible says if you "suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed."
Abby: (Sniff) Really?
Jerry: Absolutely!
Abby: Am I blessed with ice cream?
Jerry: I'll get some bowls.
Always do what is right, even when no one knows you did it...because God knows!
↓ TranscriptAbby: I want to be like Jesus.
Jerry: That's good.
Abby: But Isaiah 11:5 says "Righteousness will be His belt."
Jerry: Why is that a problem?
Abby: Belts make me look hip-py.
Isaiah 11 speaks prophecy about the coming of Jesus Christ.
↓ TranscriptAbby: My Pastor said "God is Love."
Jerry: That's right.
Abby: But the word "love" is a verb, like in "I love to dance." Saying someone is a verb doesn't make sense. Maybe I should start saying "Abby IS dance."
Jerry: "Love" can also be a noun, like in "He has a lot of love." It's used like that.
Abby: Oh.
Abby: Can I still say "Abby is dance?"
↓ TranscriptAbby: I baked some biscuits. Have some.
Abby: I hope you like them. I'm off to give some to Amos.
Con: You know, this is sort of the flipside of Matthew 4.
Jerry: How's that?
Con: Abby's turned this bread into stones.
Jerry: OW!
Both Matthew 4 and Luke 4 tell of Satan tempting Jesus to show his power.
