Psalm 103 – God Loves You

Con: "The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever;
Con: "He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the Heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;
Con: "As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him." - Psalm 103:8-13
Con: God doesn't love us for because of our actions. He loves us in spite of our actions!
We could never be good enough for God. That's why Jesus saved us.

Con: Remember Psalm 23. "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want."
Con: "He maketh me lie down in green pastures, He leadeth me beside the still waters."
Con: What are you afraid of?
Nim: Pastures and water.
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life."
Con: Sure. Everybody does.
Con: Remember Psalm 23. "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want."

Con: What are you afraid of?
Nim: Pastures and water.

Psalm 46:10 – Be Still

Nim: I'm being still. So I can know God. Psalm 46:10.
Con: "Be still and know that I am God" means you don't have to worry since God is in control. It doesn't mean you have to stand still.
Nim: Oh, thank goodness. I've been like that for six hours.
Con: You never cease to amaze me.
Nim: I think my eyes are too dry to blink!
God is in complete control, so when you're worried about something, just "Be still"
Nim: I'm being still. So I can know God. Psalm 46:10.
Con: "Be still and know that I am God" means you don't have to worry since God is in control. It doesn't mean you have to stand still.
Nim: Oh, thank goodness. I've been like that for six hours.
Con: You never cease to amaze me.
Nim: I think my eyes are too dry to blink!
God is in complete control, so when you're worried about something, just "Be still"

Abby: Nope. Not haughty. They're a little bloodshot. And you've got some crust in the corners.
Nim: Hey!!!
Psalm 131 shows us that we shouldn't judge others. Judgment is to be left to God.
Abby: Huh?
